Vogue Verdict | March 2010

It's that time again people. The March edition of Vogue was a tad thicker than the other two issues but, I'm not complaining; although my shoulder feels like it's going to rip each time I pick it up. But it's fashion I guess! Anyhow, this month the eclectic Brit-girl Alexa Chung graces the cover in fantastic Chanel clogs and features inside banging on about the universal appeal of the wardrobe staple that is denim. Elsewhere, artist Tracey Emin relates her experiences designing her famous abstract quilts; a very interesting read for quilt-lovers and art fanatics alike. Models Sasha Pivovarova, Freja Beha Erichsen, Raquel Zimmerman and Patricia van der Vliet make appearances in several spreads documenting the delightful S/S '10 trends - check the pics below and tell me these girls are not killing it! Aside from these though, my favourite article this month was Power and glamour: can women have both? which followed the powerful and glamorous women of our era and of times gone by. The eternal mademoiselle Coco Chanel, political glamazons Michelle Obama and Sarah Cameron as well as royals Princess Diana and our very own Queen Elizabeth II encapusalate the term Powerhouse Women; fierce, sophiscated and admirable to all: young and old alike.

All in all, this month's edition is packed with goodies to read, editorials to gawp at and various talking points! On sale nationwide now! (and the price has gone up by 10p as well... curse you VAT!)
