Here's another official preview of the Lanvin for H&M Autumn/Winter collection, starring one of my favourite ever models, Natasha Poly. The cocktail dresses are to die for, especially the mustard yellow asymmetrical one which our glamorous granny pulls off well. This video is such a tease!

Fashion | Lanvin/H&M Collaboration

If you know anything about Alber Elbaz's fantastic creations for Lanvin, like myself I'm sure you're waiting with baited breath for his collection for H&M. The high street chain is famed for their collaborations with luxury designers, most notably Jimmy Choo, Matthew Williamson and Sonia Rykiel. Hopefully I'll be able to get a piece of this collection, since I narrrowly missed out on a pair of Choo's... Darn.

Anyway, check out a sneak-peek of the collection here, due to launch on November 23rd.

Fashion | EMBOSS Magazine Shoot

Being Fashion Editor at EMBOSS Magazine is nothing short of hard work. A couple of weeks back, I styled my very first photoshoot and needless to say it wasn't short of setbacks. Despite the cold weather though, my lovely team, consisting of Tope of ICEPIX Photography, Ekene and Rhoda of REDD Makeup and model Breeny from agency Guys and Dolls, did a stellar job. High on McDonald's hot chocolate and spurred on by the icy winds we all managed to make my "Beautiful Monster" concept possible. I'm very proud of myself, it took loads of planning and organisation to get this done and I'm glad everything went to well. More shoots to come!

You know I'm in love with hip-hop right? Such is the reason I want you to check out this new video by Magnus! He's covering J.Cole's smash hit "Who Dat"... and quite frankly I can comfortably say we've got our own UK version of the upcoming rap star. This video is fun, the lyrics are intelligent (think Kanye and Lupe rolled into one person) and the tune's a banger! I love it. Be on the lookout for this guy - he goes in!

Fashion | London Fashion Week - Charlie Le Mindu S/S 11

Hey people! It's London Fashion Week as you all know and I had the pleasure of going to the Charlie Le Mindu show at Victoria House in Bloomsbury. His Spring/Summer 2011 collection of headwear and clothes was somewhat reminiscent of Lady Gaga Telephone - very avantgarde and shocking. I loved the show, and it wasn't at all what I had expected it to be.

Event | Calvin Klein 2011 Swimwear Launch.

Yesterday my friend Terence and I had the pleasure of attending the 2011 Calvin Klein Swimwear launch in London Bridge and I don't mean to brag but *cough cough* you should have been there! Models, sophisticated hors d'oeurves, mojitos, wine and more mojitos, bantering with the fashion elites... 'Twas a very good evening! The canopy was set up in the middle of Potters Field Park with music blasting from the speakers and the soft murmuring of voices fashiony people competing with the loud booming sounds. Afterwards received goodie bags that included a bottle of perfume, a couple of lookbooks, a tunic from the 2011 Spring collection and some business cards (which I'll surely be putting to good use!)

Fashion | ASOS or Louboutin?

If you have the funds for some hailed Coussin Christian Louboutin shoes then I'm sure this post is of no relevance to you. However, if like myself you're "out here grindin'" but still have to maintain your shoe-game, then have a look-see. For Spring/Summer 2010 these red-soled caged shoe boots from Louboutin hit shops, and have been seen on the feet of Zoe Saldana, Gywneth Paltrow and Kylie Minogue. But for £1095.20 (saksfifthavenue.com) an alternative was definitely required! Luckily trusty internet retailer ASOS have released a similar version for a humble £55, chicken change in comparison to the original. It certainly is a valiant effort; I'm still considering a purchase but I doubt that they'll be the same! Take a look anyhow and tell me your thoughts!
