Meet and Greet | Chance meeting with Melrose.

Who remembers Melrose from America's Next Top Model? Well, yours truly had the opportunity of meeting her on a daily galavant in Portobello Road. I never knew she was half English! Anyway, she's here in London doing a couple of modelling stuff and getting a wee bit of a rest at the same time, although I'm not quite sure how relaxation and the hustle and bustle of fashion constitute a restful time. Who knows,  maybe I'll see her again somewhere sometime?

Video | Mad Freestyle.

If you read my blog enough, you'll know that anything to do with hip-hop excites my soul. Well, this freestyle from A_wol, almost reminds me of a Lupe Fiasco type lyrical infusion - it's aggressive, passionate and completely mad. I admire lyricists of this nature simply because they tap into your mental and make you think on unprecedented levels. Keep an eye out for this dude people "he freestyles dropping the vocal salami"... So you definitely won't be left hungry! Peep the freestyle below!

Video | Alicia Keys - Unthinkable (I'm Ready)

I'm so glad that Alicia Keys decided on a concept for her new video Unthinkable (I'm Ready). Going by the lyrics and by the fact that vocals from hip-hop star Drake feature, I assumed the video would be set in some type of sensuous place, possibly a bedroom, some slinky underwear - you catch my drift I'm sure. But when I noticed that the video was actually based on the theme of interracial relationships and that actor Chad Michael Murray featured instead of the Young Money export, my heart sang. The time shifts are extremely poignant too since the stigma associated with interracial relationships is still an issue in our modern day society - want to have an interracial relationship... so I guess this is the soundtrack to my future life? Anyway. Alicia Keys looks delicious as usual -  in every single era! I love the song even more now... I have to admit I had tears in my eyes when watching. Don't judge me. Thanks and enjoy!
